Forgettable and underwhelming are the best words to describe Snow Patrol’s aptly named “Fallen Empires.” It’s OK for a band to have a signature sound, but Snow Patrol never developed beyond that.

Yes. That Noel Gallagher. The one of former English rock band Oasis fame and glory. Gallagher’s solo work could be described as “Diet Oasis.” Although diet may sound negative, it’s not meant to be. Noel is simply less angst-y than he used to be.
